【shinsaibashi】An old bank turned into a café_堺筋倶楽部(sakaisuji club)

shinsaibashi

A café located a little away from Shinsaibashi Station. In the atmosphere of an old bank, you can eat delicious bread. Old buildings remain intact in this area, and dramas introducing old buildings have been broadcast. Among them, “Sakaisuji Club” remains the inside of the strict building as it is. The first floor is a bakery. It is also a café restaurant and is open from 8 o’clock. I had lunch with all-you-can-eat bread.

café built in 1931

This building was built in 1931 and seems to have been a bank at that time. It has a profound appearance. I feel that the design combines the atmosphere of Europe and Japan. In addition to this building, there are many other buildings in the surrounding area that are luxurious and unique.

The inside of the store is also beautiful

The inside of the store is an atrium, and when you enter the store and look up, there is a sense of liberation. As soon as you enter the store, there is a lot of bread lined up, and takeout is also available. Meals in the store are always lined up, but if you want to take out bread, you can buy it without standing in line. The price is high, but there are many creative breads and they are delicious.

All-you-can-eat bread for lunch

Lunch includes soup, salad, main course, all-you-can-eat bread and drinks. The price varies depending on the main dish, about 2000~3000 yen.

I chose Herb bread crumbs Cheese chicken cutlet (tomato sauce) for the main dish and cinnamon cappuccino (+200 yen) for the drink. It is not a restaurant where food is served immediately after ordering, but you will be soothed by the atmosphere of the restaurant and the cuteness of the table.

You’ll receive soups, salads, bread platters and drinks first. For additional bread, the waiter will bring freshly baked bread to each table. Chicken cutlets are big and satisfying. It looks small in the photo, but it is full of volume.

open 8 a.m~7p.m.

This shop is famous for its morning and opens at 8 o’clock. It has been crowded since opening. Before entering the store, a numbered ticket will be issued at the ticketing machine in front of the store. Then wait near the store until the clerk calls your number. Please be careful not to lose your numbered ticket as it will be checked when you enter the store. I went there around 13 o’clock on Saturday and waited for about an hour.

By the way, espresso is also delicious.
